Understanding Neurodiversity

Every child experiences the world differently. Our campaign highlights the sensory experiences that matter to neurodiverse children and their families.

Space makes sense - poster showing a plate with neatly separated peas, potatoes, and nuggets illustrating food preferences of neurodiverse children
Crunch is comforting. Mushy is suspicious - poster showing crispy food with mashed potatoes illustrating texture preferences
Same feels safe - poster showing toast in different settings illustrating the comfort of routine and sameness

Made for parents, shaped by parents.

Our Mission

We believe technology should serve humanity with integrity, transparency, and compassion. Our mission is to educate, simplify, and help communities navigate emerging technologies for social good.

Ethical AI

Every algorithm we develop prioritizes privacy, fairness, and transparency. AI should empower, never exploit.

Human-Centered

We design with and for communities, ensuring solutions address real needs with empathy and understanding.

Privacy First

Data protection is not negotiable. We build systems that respect user privacy and maintain the highest security standards.

Educate & Simplify

We break down complex technologies into accessible solutions, empowering communities to understand and benefit from innovation.

Building Together Through Research & Co-Design

These technologies are new and their impact is still uncertain. We're committed to ongoing research and development to understand how AI can truly benefit families and communities.

Co-Design with Parents

We believe the best solutions come from working alongside the people who need them most. We're actively seeking parents and caregivers to participate in our co-design process, sharing their experiences, challenges, and insights to shape technology that truly serves their needs.

About Us

Aga & Kasia, Co-Founders

We are parents. We know what it feels like to sit in waiting rooms, to explain your child for the hundredth time, to wonder if you are doing enough.

We started Loomi Labs because we live this every day. Parenting a neurodiverse child, or a child with complex medical needs, can be isolating, exhausting, and overwhelming. The systems meant to help are often fragmented, confusing, and hard to navigate.

We believe parents deserve better tools, built with empathy, grounded in real experience, and designed alongside the people who will actually use them. That is why everything we create starts with listening.

Loomi Labs was founded in Aotearoa New Zealand by parents who saw a gap between what families need and what technology currently offers.
